Kaeser launches redesigned FSD series rotary screw air compressors

Kaeser Compressors has redesigned the FSD series of rotary screw air compressors to deliver an energy efficiency advantage of up to 26% over the competition. With flows from 1243 to 2052 and pressures up to 217 psig, the new FSD 350 and 450 offer lower life cycle costs thanks to their simple maintenance and reduced energy costs.
Series features include IE4 super premium efficiency drive motors, an enhanced cooling design, eco-friendly filter element, integral moisture separator with drain, and an Electronic Thermal Management system. Units also come standard with Sigma Control 2?. This intelligent controller offers unsurpassed air compressor control and monitoring with enhanced communications capabilities for seamless integration into plant control/monitoring systems and the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT).
Built-in heat recovery options provide sustainable energy savings and contribute to lowering a plant's carbon footprint.
