Gioffredi named CEO of Zahro of Valves
Anthony (Tony) Gioffredi has joined Zahroof Valves Inc., Houston, as CEO. For the past 12 years, Gioffredi worked at EnPro Industries Inc. of Charlotte, North Carolina, where he was a corporate officer and multi-division president. In this role, he was the division president for Compressor Products Intl. (CPI), headquartered in Stafford, Texas, as well as the division president for the Engine Products and Services Segment for Fairbanks Morse Engine (FME), headquartered in Beloit, Wisconsin. Both CPI and FME are operating divisions of EnPro Industries.
Gioffredi joined EnPro in 2001 as vice president of operations for FME and moved to Stafford in 2003 to establish a new headquarters for CPI. Prior to joining EnPro, Gioffredi was vice president and general manager for the reciprocating compressor division of Dresser Rand Co. in Painted Post, New York. His previous experience includes 15 years at Westinghouse Electric Corp. in their power generation business unit, where he was the multi-plant manager of facilities in Charlotte, North Carolina, and Fort Payne, Alabama.
Gioffredi has a bachelor’s of science degree in mechanical engineering from Iowa State University and is a graduate of the advanced management program at the Harvard Business School.
